Right then, Thursday what have you got? Can you be better than Wednesday I wonder? JW was a delight as ever and always happiest when in the company of her readers. She and Anthony Horowitz are machines! They just can’t stop themselves. Jacqueline has clearly inspired a generation (or more? How long is a generation anyway?) with her books and her fans love her to pieces. And she’s not slowing down any time soon…

Foodie Thursday ready to go with Nigel’s Tray Baked Rose Petal Lamb Chops. Judging from the photos he’s posted, there’s plenty of chilli, lime, garlic, coriander and mint in there too. And I’m thinking SOFT ROCK oldies today. Here we go. A team of psychologists at Cambridge University say that the way you think influences your musical taste and if you like soft rock you are an ‘empathiser’; you see a mountain and want to walk on it with friends. If you see a mountain and want to know how it got there, you are more likely to be into intense music like punk and hard rock. You are a ‘systemiser’ and more prone to analyse and understand the world. This is obviously a very crude summary of their conclusions but will suffice for now. So SOFT ROCK and all its attendant trappings of melody, sentimentality, harmony, everyday life and poodles etc

Lets rock gently everyone!
