When I was small and Christmas trees were tall...

What ho! Another fabulous Friday has dawned (3 toppings on the porridge, Yes that’s three). And a Bank Holiday for some/most/not me. Monday will be an all music tunesday/all-request-a-thon; the kind of show you will be happy to sit in a jam with.
But today we do a show double with movies first and Carey Mulligan talking Far From The Madding Crowd. Anyone else study this at school? I had forgotten almost all of the story but it all came flooding back as Carey as Bathsheba and Michael Sheen as Farmer Boldwood took me right back to 1)Wessex and 2)Worthing Boys High. We’ve also filmed the interview so you can watch me and Carey as the show runs from 2. Radio with pictures seems to be the thing.
And your ARFO is a 1969 one please. Hello Spacehopper, QE2 and Concorde. Lulu wins Eurovision and Monty Python debuts. The Sun goes tabloid. The Clangers is the talk of the playground. And a whole host of fabulous music offers itself for selection. Who wants what?
Till Tuesday!
