We have school back in our lives today. The uniform is dry-cleaned, the new timetable examined (no it hasn’t), the slide-rule dusted off (haven’t seen one for years). But that whole-first-day-of-a-new-year thing is very powerful; who are the new teachers and new students, what are these new subjects and how can I make my uniform cooler than yours? Enjoyed the uniform chat yesterday,many more confessions to come there I suspect.

Foodie Thursdays have Nige back to ease us towards more engaging dishes and today’s is Mongolian rack of lamb with ginger crust. Or something like that…
