And good sunny Friday vibes to you all. Everything looking just fine for a splendid weekend it seems to me. If your plans don't include at least one cup of tea and a cake in the great outdoors, then it's time to make some changes.
Two shows today with Brendan Gleeson guesting on the film show. He stars with Diane Keaton in 'Hampstead ' a comedy/rom-com about a woman increasingly at odds with her rich neighbours and a man who lives in a shack, adrift from the world but quite content with that. It's based on a true story and you're right-it sounds a bit Richard Curtis and you'd be right! No higher praise.
Then it's ARF time and we haven't kicked off with 1975 for YEARS. So 1975 it is. Charlie Chaplin is knighted - what took so long? The first Inspector Morse novel is published and Fawlty Towers debuts on TV. At the movies it's Jaws, Monty Python and the Holy Grail and One Flew Over The Cuckoos Nest.
