Settling down down down

Well here we go then, one more show before compulsory family time strikes again. So much gardening and DIY to do, so little time. Sheryl Crow tells us that a change will do us good, so lets hope that’s true. WHAT I WANT a bit more sleep, lovely food and happy family. WHAT I DONT WANT hassle, stress and shellfish. Some good GCSE results would be nice, but thats a bit later. If you have some hols on the way, I hope it’s a fabulous one, let’s all regroup in a bit (August 22nd to be precise). I’ll try to make sure the blog ticks along in the meantime. Shall we say 692 as my opening blogpost guess? If we can get 3 weeks worth added together?

In the meantime, a shiny ARF tonight with 1979 as a promising start for proceedings. Seb Coe sets a new record for the mile of 3 minutes 48.95 seconds, To The Manor Born bows out of the TV schedules with an audience of 23 million viewers and there’s a new nudist beach in Brighton. At the movies it’s Alien, Kramer Vs Kramer and Life of Brian. And on the radio? What would you fancy?

Meantime Mark Goodier is very good news and will do a lovely show.

Onwards!

Talk later, see you at the chippy...
