Right then. Here we go. Another jolly Thursday which finishes with Nigel not cooking his meat again. Anyway it's a runaround day today with the movie show moving to Thursday for what is supposed to be a once-in-five-years burst of disruption. So because of all that NEWS and VOTING we get booted from Friday to Thursday so that 5 Live can have 2 hours of compulsory election-free chat tomorrow AND because of a studio-squeeze we have to do it all from a threadbare studio in Westminster. Then I jump on a taxi motorbike and whiz through the streets of London to R2 central for a super-top show.
Apart from the uncooked meat.
Tonight Nigel offers chopped raw hanger steak with mozzarella, borlotti beans and wild garlic. I'll take the beans garlic and mozzarella and leave the rest to a passing tiger.
And this might have been scandalously unreported but it's WORLD OCEAN DAY today, celebrating our oceans (obviously). So while everything goes crazy, meditate on this. Then choose a tune suitable for world ocean day.
