All right then. Insomnia is a lovely thing isn’t it? It means that you get to hear the dawn chorus, without all that tedious getting-to-sleep-first business first! Result! And so many more hours in the day to be creative, make plans, hear imaginary burglars, send 2am texts and so on. Plus you get to be more efficient in your use of time-90 minutes sleep is really all you need. Trust me, I’m a doctor and I’m using the brand new and exciting 'alternative facts’. It’s all proven by scientists, the same ones as say Friday calories don’t count. Join me! It’s invigorating !

Then its showtime! And the Book Club choice is the brilliant Homegoing by Yaa Gyassi. Yaa was born in Mampong, Ghana and raised in Huntsville, Alabama. It is an epic story about slavery and its legacy that spans 3 continents and 7 generations, each chapter concerning a different member of the same, sprawling family.

So who want to kickoff the GOING HOME tunes then?
