And here we go again. As Bob Harris tweeted last night ‘the baby boomer rock generation is feeling pretty low tonight.’ and this from Johnnie Walker ‘My love for the music of California began with The Eagles…Take it easy Glenn and thank you.’ So we lose Glenn Frey and the radio is again full of his wonderful songs and harmonies. I never thought of The Eagles as my era as they seemed old guys to me in the 70s but then I caught up with them. Their version of country rock, tight harmonies and wonderful ballads gave them record album sales and many converts here (like JW) to the new sound of California. Glenn played on the show in 2012 when he had an album of 40s covers out but he sang Eagles too and it was amazing to be so close to the performance.

And all of that means I don’t really know what we are doing on the show! I know what the plans were but this may well change. In fact they will change. So I’m posting this now but will post again once plans are sorted. Bear with us...
