You’re Breaking My Heart

Morning groovers. It was a late one of course and you could sense those with babysitters edging to the doors as approached 11pm, but it was worth it. Sting And Paul Simon were fabulous last night (as some of you know already). I would never have put them together but last night revealed it to be a stroke of genius. We all know they have great back catalogues but it was the choice of songs, the renewing of old favourites, the quality of the band and the generosity of the main guys that stood out. Fragile became a Simon song, Sting took charge on Bridge Over Troubled Water, Fields of Gold sounded like they’d written it together. If they do it again, you really should give it a go.

And meantime it is ARF time with 1991 selected as our opening year if loveliness.Hello the Vauxhall Astra, goodbye Thames Television and Oracle Teletext. You can choose any big loud energetic song from this year so don’t even bother with Bryan Adams and the Robin Hood tune. It’s good but a bit a bit feeble for a 5.05 moment.

Happy to help.

Happy Friday!

Have a great weekend!
