Are you kidding? Is that it? I thought the weekend was just getting going and now you’re saying it’s all over. Well thanks a bunch, now I’ll need to get dressed.Oh well Monday-Friday is SO MUCH BETTER ANYWAY. I finally got to see Hell Or High Water which was magnificent and finish Robert Harris’s Conclave which was a compulsive, addictive stuff. I wrote a thousand words of my own which were none of the above.

So Book Club today with The Graces by Laure Eve, an ice-cool Young Adult story about a mysterious family with names like Fenir, Summer and Thalia. They are The Graces and we follow the story of a girl who calls herself River, newly moved to the Cornish town that could really be anywhere. Everyone thinks the Graces are witches but we don’t really know-actually we don’t know too much about River either.But they are all very COOL, they are the cool kids and no doubt. This is all skilfully done and The Graces is poised to be a breakout hit-read some of it right here. Laure is with us from 6.
