November already! Happy All Saints day! Not too many visitors last night, our bowl of sweets still half-full. Maybe there were too many references to chocolate covered sprouts on yesterday's show. Breakfast today will be Parma Violets, sour chews and raspberry lollies.
Feeling full of natural goodness, its then off for an early screening of Murder on the Orient Express which is Sir Ken Branagh's new film. His Poirot moustache is really rather extraordinary! Then we have a Christmas meeting (I bring the chocolate reindeer muffins).
And showtime with actor, DJ and documentary maker Reggie Yates. He came on the show last year and talked about getting locked up in an American prison (for TV, obviously). He's since made another show about being a prison officer in North Carolina. He makes tough films requiring him to sleep in refugee camps, fight the drug war in Mexico or spending a week on a toxic waste dump in Ghana. Those days of presenting the Top 40 must seem a long time ago! His book is called Unseen-My Journey.
And JOURNEY seems a top idea for tunes. All kinds of journeys welcome!
Plus! The first play of the new U2 single! All this, and it's only Wednesday. Now pass the sugar jellies...
