Cruisin'

Just digging around in an old cassette box and in amongst some mini discs and recordings of old Radio 1 shows, came across some great old compilations. These were labours of love and usually put together for holidays etc, despite cries of 'just get on with the packing' or 'do something useful'. You probably have some similar item tucked away somewhere. Nowadays we just make playlists but as souvenirs of 'French hols 1990' it takes some beating. I've also found again the great old Cruisin' titles-one hour slices of American radio from assorted years, complete with ads and DJs. I might have to try todays ARF in the style of Wolfman Jack.
And 1967 is where we'll kick off. It's the Summer of Love-though not here as Puppet On A String wins Eurovision, Harold Wilson is PM, the Forsyte Saga is on TV and the first Rolling Stone is published with John Lennon on the cover. And you'll be choosing?Be sure to wear some flowers in your hair. You know I will.
