It was a wild and crazy show yesterday with Genesis love to the fore, rockers old and new, dinner vs tea, magazine publishing dates and many other stories to grab your attention. Mike Rutherford is a gentle soul and it is always a pleasure to spend time with him, even if I might end up with his laryngitis. That would be actually quite rocknroll-'Yes sorry to be coughing, it's a Genesis bug you know...' And judging from everyone's reaction, The Living Years still has the power it had when it was released.
But lets talk happiness. Our academic who explained positive songs and how they actually, really make our mood change was spot on. Positive playlists full of songs that make you smile are proven winners; I think it's one of the reasons that ARF works so well. `i'm looking forward to tomorrow already. But why should Friday have all the fun? Let's try the songs that would always make it onto your POSITIVE PLAYLIST and get us to be a happy swaying arm-waving crowd of cheerful charlies by 7 o'clock.
