A) Back door open, saffron-laden breezes waft in to fill the kitchen, another week dawns burdened with promise and expectations.
B) Back door open, the small of fox urine filled the kitchen so we shut it again.
Correct. Good morning to all and what a fine week etc (yeah yeah like you say every week). We had a weekend of doing tourist things; visiting the places you only go to when American friends are in town. Canals, walks, cups of unusually flavoured tea - all were taken with relish. Exotic breakfasts were consumed. But Monday demands a new rigour! Fruit! Veg! Discipline!
Book Club today with Jeffrey Deaver’s Solitude Creek. It’s another thriller featuring his investigator Kathryn Dance and a killer uses fear to kill his prey. There is a chapter here for you to read if you want to get a taste. Jeffrey has been on the show before but his Book Club debut is today from 6.
And Dish Up is up and running (I know, too many ups) so Nigel will be answering your questions everyday at 5.20. The whole idea is to give everyone the confidence to ‘have a go’ in the kitchen. So ‘HAVING A GO IN THE KITCHEN’ themed songs seems a good thing….
