Lovely Friday is with us again and for breakfast I think I fancy the bangers and mash Nigel cooked up for yesterday. The mash side of things might be a surprising choice on the breakfast table, and the gravy a tad controversial but I have confidence in Nigel's powers and who needs toast anyway.
Off for some movie chat first with Sir Ken 'Chuckles' Branagh talking Murder On The Orient Express, football and chocolate snacks. Then another ARF and the very exotic 1968 has been selected as our opening year of requirement. 1968! Hello to the new-fangled 5p and 10p coins (a florin no more), the Ford Escort and Dads Army. At the movies it's Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, The Thomas Crown Affair and 2001 A Space Odyssey. There were flares on our hips and flowers in our hair (or maybe just school uniform). And what fab and groovy hits do you want to hear at 5.05pm?
