Let's get this sorted ladies and gentlemen of the blog. We have a show to get together (I realise most of that responsibility is mine however) and the clock is running. Last night I went to a friends OBE party. I know. Me neither. Here's the form in case you have one soon (a party not an OBE). No cards, no presents, canapés, milling, hearty congrats, proud parents, big smiles, gong appreciation, home before the news. All rather splendid and very time-of-life don't you think? Any bloggers with gongs? I'd give you all a medal-services to broadcasting and rocknroll and enjoying yourself. I'll get the designers onto it. You would have to have an ARFO and a hundred posts to your credit, or just a nice online chat about something of no real consequence in the grand scheme of things. Either or both would be fine.
So Nigel has a Tomato thing today (something like a gesundheit as I recall) and we'll have songs please, again, of cheery encouragement. Johnnie on Sunday afternoon played All Things Must Pass by George Harrison and it was perfect. And as things haven't exactly passed just yet, we need to revisit this. So you've had a hassle -filled day handling whatever nature and people can throw at you and what you need is your radio to ease your way back to sanity and perspective. And that's where you come in, medal winners of the blog. Your country needs you.
