Coffee house again. Very few oddballs, mostly decent upstanding citizens (like me). Up and in for a chat with top actor chap Mark Ruffalo (NO spellcheck, not buffalo). His new movie Spotlight is up for best picture Oscar and he's up for best supporting actor so he's probably quite chipper. And as long as I don't make him angry...
Still in 'best picture' territory, today we really will get to Michael Lewis, author of The Big Short. The movie stars Brad Pritt (etc) and is about financial SHENANIGANS way too complex for my simple head. But the book is a brilliant enthralling account of the few people who knew the crash of 2008 was coming. Oddballs and misfits all. They probably wouldn't like my coffee house choice.
But WHEELINGDEALING SONGS please. Lovely.
And thanks for the great Eagles memories yesterday. The Glenn Frey Tunesday was sad and glorious all at once.
