Today's musical accompaniment is The River (Outtakes) and very good too. If less chilled than yesterdays Enya-tastic day. But if Bruuuuuce was offering The River (Oatcakes) I’d take those too. Especially if he was playing in Sark. That way I could pay homage to The Boss and stare at the stars afterwards. I think a big rock event in Sark sort of goes against the spirit of the place but maybe an acoustic session. Or an accapella song or two. Or he could just hum. Move on.

Lets talk food then and Nigel kicking in today with some Sag Paneer Pie. Not what you might expect in a pie but it sounds exactly what you’d order having queued for an hour at the 'Sark Springsteen Spectacular’ (tickets £4.50 so cheaper than Enya’s new tour).

And oldies today mixing music and books. It is World Book Day and some kids get to dress as their favourite character but why should they have all the fun? So instead of donning capes and make up (though that is tempting) we’ll take SONGS WITH CHARACTERS FROM BOOKS IN THEM thank you very much.
