Eat your greens

Nice day on the way but a chill in the air early this morning that feels delightfully autumnal. My new uniform is ready, my school books are ready to go (my dad liked to cover them in brown paper-lasted all year) and the butterflies starting already. Those 'Back to school' signs were always horrid and I still dislike them. A constant reminder that child 3 needs new shoes and there's a bundle going on in a supermarket nearby which we need to join sometime soon. Look out we're going in! I'll have some of those with a compass in the heel and animal paw prints on the sole please! (They were always my favourite, I still fancy a pair to be honest).
Hope you enjoyed the Tim Vine confession again, this time with added Jeremy forgiveness. I laughed all the way through, all over again. Great story and top gags. Normal service resumes today!
Dr Mösh delivers a harvest reaping today (always a blog favourite) and might we try BROCCOLI oldies? BBC NEWs is reporting that eating lots of broccoli may slow down and even prevent osteoarthritis, UK researchers believe.
The University of East Anglia team is starting human trials following on from successful lab studies.
Tests on cells and rats showed that a broccoli compound - which humans can also get from Brussels sprouts and cabbage - blocked a key destructive enzyme that damages cartilage.
So now you know-any tunes you fancy?
Have a healthy and rocking Wednesday, see you after 5.
