Film show is on early at midday because of the Ryder Cup with Tim Burton talking Miss Peregrine’s School for Peculiar Children (a Tim Burton title if ever there was one), then all the excitement of the hen do/trip to the caravan/college drop-off weekend with the ARF. And as the waters clear, we are looking at 1982 as our point of lift-off. The tabloids are playing Bingo big time, the Queen woke up to find she had an intruder in her bedroom and the Mary Rose was hauled up from the bottom of the Solent where it had been since 1545.
At the movies it's ET, An Officer and a Gentleman and Tootsie. And on the radio?
