Oh boy. another crazy one today.Off to watch Byzantium early this morning, then a chat with Gwyneth Paltrow about Iron Man 3 in which she stars with Robert Downey Jr. Barely time to catch breath before we're back with Drivetime. Will there be time to eat/drink on the way? Unlikely so taking on caffeine now. This is also because the venue that is showing the movie won't let you bring in your own coffee but charges you £3.07 for one of their own. It's perfectly fine, just not worth £3.07. And encourages me to try-pointlessly-to smuggle a coffee in. It is about as rebellious as I get. If I get nicked, I'll let Matt and Rebecca take over (Vassos coped splendidly last week!).
Hope you all liked the mystery voice.Hearing John Dunn again was a real nostalgia moment for me. I was way too young to be listening; I'm not sure why I was! But I'm glad I did as he was the great gentleman broadcaster and did the show for 25 years! Way to go John! He was a studio manager with my mother back in the 50s so maybe that is whyI was intrigued. I think however I would have struggled to have got Terrence Stamp, despite interviewing him at Wimbledon a few years back. A new voice running today...
And oldies today on CHEATING and BREAKING THE RULES. I was thinking of this yesterday with the 'kids feel forced to cheat at sport' story, then the confession about the wanna-be postie who cheated at the aptitude test came along (and my attempt to smuggle a coffee into the screening). That seems to seal it. Cheating it is.
Have a smart and astute Tuesday, see you after 5
