Well exactly. I'm currently remembering trying to mime the whip sound on The Legend Of Xanadu which Chris is playing. I loved that song. Think I bought it too. As I recall Dave Dee struggled to match his whip-action mime with the crack-sound on the record too, so I'm in good company.

Hope all bloggers had a great weekend full of all the things you were hoping for on Friday. This is a full week people. No lovely bank holiday to keep things short. It's the long haul this week with some fine shows to keep you focussed. Today we talk to actress Lesley Sharp, she from Clocking Off, Bob and Rose, Scott and Bailey and Dr Who (yes kids it's Sky Silvestry!). She's starring in a new production of A Taste of Honey, the taboo-busting, 'kitchen-sink drama' from 1958 written by playwright Shelagh Delaney when she was just 18. Lesley is always a must-watch actress, always picking fantastically written projects and you can hear her tonight.

And how about songs for the return of Dad's Army, this time as a movie? Toby Jones will play Captain Wainwaring and Bill Nighy, Sergeant Wilson and if anyone can make this daunting project work, these guys can. DAD'S ARMY WILL BE A NEW MOVIE oldies please!
