Maybe it's better this way

Well hey hey it's Friday already and that weekend vibe is just a few hours away now. Wardrobe is sorted, food and fizz purchased, tickets bought. Or alternatively, it's just the same old housework, plate spinning, juggling, visiting, transporting, de-fusing, shopping and then Strictly before falling asleep on the sofa. Rock and roll!

Well first up for me it's films and Armando Iannucci is in to talk The Death of Stalin, the darkest comedy you're likely to see this year. Laugh out loud funny and incredibly disturbing all at the same time with a fabulous cast. Then a brief hop, skip and a jump to All Request Friday studio (obviously it has its own studio) where 1984 has been selected as our toppermost opening year. Big hair! Big shoulder pads! Torville and Dean winning gold in Sarajevo! And on TV it's Thomas the Tank Engine and Friends with a new cop show called The Bill starting on ITV. At the movies it's Ghostbusters, Gremlins and The Terminator but on your radio? What is that big Friday song?

Have a DIY-free weekend (it's the most anyone can hope for).
