So hey, here's to some lovely Friday stuff coming your way today. Managed an hour of the show without coughing yesterday so that's a step up. Here's to a weekend of increasing health, energy and general bounciness.
Movies today on 5L with Micheal Fassbender and Rebecca Fergusson talking The Snowman. This is the Jo Nesbø Snowman not the Aled Jones Snowman and so has more gruesomeness and no one sings Walking In the Air (though there is strange use of Popcorn by Hot Butter). Then to ARF action stations with 1995 tunes kicking off the whole shebang. The Diary of Bridget Jones turns up in The Independent for the first time, the BBC starts DAB broadcasting (that long ago!) and President Bill Clinton was visiting Northern Ireland. At the movies it's Apollo 13, Toy Story and Goldeneye and on the radio? Pick the hits, big loud and and as 'Friday' as you can make it.
