Sure it feels like Thursday but on checking, it is just Wednesday. A historic Wednesday of course but we will be elsewhere in the company of Susan Cain, the author of Quiet: The power of introverts in a world that can’t stop talking. You might remember a couple of summers ago I came back from holiday having read it, loved it and we got Susan on the phone. There were so many great insights in Quiet. She says that society/culture is designed and run by extroverts and that they have misunderstood and undervalued introverts who are not waiting ‘to be brought out of themselves’ after all. Whether you are introvert, extrovert or ambivert (oooh can I be one of those please?) there is plenty of food for thought here.
