Sandy and his Evil Hair

Psycho Sandy's hair was well and truly evil this week! What a nasty piece of work he is! He tried to fool everyone into thinking that Annie was the unhinged one but the truth came out in the end - Sandy physically abused wife Annie for years until she finally ran away from him. It was very distressing to see the bubbly, happy-go-lucky Annie being turned into a timid, scared shadow of herself. I shed a bit of tear when she bared her soul and told everyone of the horror she had to live through. Thankfully, Sandy was run out of town by the Shieldinchers, I think he got off lightly, they should have had him thrown in jail. On a lighter note, I really will miss that hair.

Jezebel Jo is being quite the little conniver over at the arcade. She's trying to set the Fabulous Brodie Brothers against each other and has now gone into league with Lenny Murdoch - I hope she knows what she's doing. From next week's sneak peak it looks like she's succeeded in her mission. Will Leo and Gabriel let a woman come between them?

Zinnie the Pooh was the one getting pooed on this week, I actually felt a bit sorry for her! Her parents are avoiding her calls and her attempts to fit in at the Brodie's backfired. Conor and Adeeb ended up getting steaming on a bottle of vodka while Zinnie was supposed to be looking after them - oops! Those boys were hilarious this week, the fake phone call had me giggling and they were totally rubbish at hiding the fact they'd been drinking! Worst rebels ever!!!

Next week's episode should be entertaining - we've got the Jo/Gabriel/Leo love triangle coming to a head and a Shieldinch football match. Football match = men in shorts, hoorah!

Quote of the Week

Conor (to Michael): "He has a telescope..." that has got to be the worst excuse I've ever heard! If you're trying to convince your parents to let you stay out late, come up with something better than that.
