This was a bit of an epic episode wasn't it? Leo almost took the high road on yon bonny banks of Loch Lomond but thanks to Conor he dragged himself back to shore in time. Leo's meltdown was filmed on location at Loch Lomond which is just up the road from our Dumbarton studios. The scenery looked amazing and the sea plane coming into land looked great. I asked the Director Patrick Harkins about it:
"We didn't actually know if we were going to get the sea plane until the day before we were due to shoot, so it was a bit touch and go. We had one rehearsal and gave the pilot pointers on where to land etc and then went ahead and shot it. It was filmed in one take with three cameras and we filmed the actors the whole time in order to capture their reactions. The plane wasn't integral to the script but it added something a bit special and different to the scene and it was especially good fun for Rian who plays Conor."
Back in Shieldinch, dodgy McCabe is back and up to old tricks! What is Jimmy getting himself into? He's agreed to courier counterfeit money for the resident gangster - this isn't going to end well! And Fraser seems to think that he can play with the big boys too, the silly lad just doesn't know what he's letting himself in for! Fraser and Jimmy will both become further embroiled in McCabe's criminal empire but what will be the consequences?
Next week is election night and the Nick and Nicole saga is set to explode. We saw a sneak peek of Michael's reaction to the revelations but what will be the impact on Nick's political ambitions? I can't wait!

Well, its official, Big Boab finally got his hands on Tattie's neeps! He and the rest of Shieldinch are delighted but Iona's not too happy about it. Iona thinks that maybe Tatiana isn't all she seems but is it just jealousy or is she right to be suspicious about Tatiana's motives? Whatever the truth, it's a definite that Iona won't stop her meddling quite yet...
What's Leo Brodie playing at? One minute he wants to give it a go with Hayley, the next he's snogging Jo on the couch! He is definitely a very confused man and the drugs aren't helping. Be sure to watch next week's episode when all Leo's problems will come to a head.
Deek seems to be plotting something doesn't he? Now that Wee Bob's off to Peru for the foreseeable, is this a chance for Deek to win the heart of Stella?
Did you spot the face from the past in the sneak peek for next week's episode? Yep, it was the gangster McCabe! There is definitely trouble ahead with him back in Shieldinch but just who will be getting mixed up in his criminal activities?

Amber's moving in with Fraser, Nicole is still pursuing Nick and by the looks of that sneak peek after this week's episode, Big Bob wasn't talking mince about his Tattie after all! I felt so sorry for him when everyone was making fun of him but maybe good luck is finally heading his way! What are your predictions for this Ukrainian beauty? Do you think she's for real? Do you want to see Big Bob settle down with someone or would you rather he got together with Iona? I'll get more info on here about this new love interest Tatiana next week.
Fraser was on top form in this episode - lying to Amber, scamming Jimmy and being offensive to Liz! What do you think of Amber's decision to take Fraser back? I think we saw a different side to Amber, she seems to be toughening up a bit - maybe she's her father's daughter after all!
Nicole just doesn't seem to be taking the hint when it comes to Nick. I was cringing when she thought that Nick was referring to her when he spoke about being compatible with Aquarians - he was really talking about his wife Hannah! But, Nick could be getting himself into a really tricky situation here - do you have sympathy for him or do you think he could be handling it better?
