Photo of Scarlett and Murray watching Madonna

Scarlett, you may get bad news, but it's better to get to the hospital, find out what you're dealing with and then tackle it. Even if it may be something as devastating as cancer. And please, please, please share your problem with someone!

At the Shieldinch nativity play, the sullen performance from little Julie as Mary was so bad it was hilarious. As Scarlett said: 'She'll only decapitate the baby Jesus'. On the other hand, Madonna's sweet singing would have melted your heart, so it's a good job she has a pushy parent!

Really excellent episode on Tuesday night, just keeps getting better and better.Good on Scarletts determination for wee Madonna to be Mary. She was so cute and was perfect for the part unlike the other wee girl, the right one was chosen thats for sure.I just wish that Scarlett had gone for her appointment and the sooner she is tested the better.I really thought last week Scarlett was going to tell Gina but no.I really feel so sorry for her and shes trying so hard to put on a brave face which must be very hard for her.The sooner she gets her results the sooner they can help her.And i know that once her friends and Jimmy find out they will be their for her and give her so much love and support. As for poor Raymond he just cant do right for wrong just now,but thankfully Malcolm gave a good talking to Eileen and made her realise how lucky she was to have Raymond and how much he wanted to help her.It was good to see her being more appreciative towards Raymond instead of snapping at him.It was good to see them cuddled up on the sofa together and having a laugh.Glad to see Andy and Ruth are going to get things sorted out, they both love each other very much and at least Ruth is willing to get the professional help with her depression so thats a good start.I thought what Amber did for Malcolm was so kind and thoughtful of her and it was lovely to see Lizs face light up when he gave her the tickets for Austrailia. That was such a lovely thing that Amber did for them.Looking forward to next weeks episode very much.

Have recently underwent a similar situation as portrayed by Scarlett. It would be could if the character could promote the advantages of early detection. I wouldn't be here if I had failed to go for my routine 3 yearly test. I didn't show any symptoms. On average 75,000 women in Scotland fail to turn up for their smear test! I know it can be a bit embarrassing but it can save your life!
