Word on the street
It's busy on set today but not with River City. Garrow's Law is filming so the canteen is filling up with 18th Century types! We are pleased to report that they are enjoying food from the present day.
Also we had a look at the interview with Gordon McCorkell on The Hour. He talks about playing Deek and the reactions from the public to his character.

His character as Deek is very good and he really plays his part very well.I think this must have been very difficult for him cause it cant be easy playing a part as an alchoholic from someone who is just a helpfull kind hearted guy.And also as he said regarding the story it does show how easy a person can become dependent on drink through problems in their lives. As i said before it was good when all his friends were still their for him and wanted to help him.And Bob being their at the surgery with him was a really good helpfull and supportive thing to do for his best pal. They could see he needed medical help and just being their to support him through this hard times will certainly help him stay off the drink and be back to the old Deek again.A very good story line, just so glad that Deeks going to be back to his old self again soon. His acting of this part was excellent, well done Gordon.
