Gordon's bid to win Ruth's heart with bling - it was impulsive, and impressive. But wretched and ever-so-slightly desperate too. He certainly wasn't expecting to get dumped, was he? Oh, what a mess ... Gordon's such a good guy and, with his own booming business, a real catch too!
