After much flirtation with the rather fetching trainer at the fostering workshop, it seemed like a hot date was on the horizon. But a drink invitation and knockback later, "I think it's best if we don't mix business and pleasure"- it looks like playful Eileen is ready to get serious about fostering a child with Raymond. We know they can handle the bar shenanigans, but how do you think they would get along together as future parents?

Lee episode 7 series 4

Those eyes... that smile... Oh yes, you are rather irresistible aren't you? And it seems you could be blissfully on your way to becoming a well-kept man.

When Lee first graced Shieldinch with his mysterious presence back in December, we soon discovered he was up to no good. After all the kerfuffle of posing as Lydia's long lost fake son, and Amber's agony over Ewan's death, it would be nice to hope that something good would come from bad. Lee has cast a spell over Amber, that's for sure, but why is he back?

And there is definitely one person who's not swooning in Lee's presence though, and that's Charlie...

Photo of Deek at the funeral

...comes from Big Bob.

What NOT to say to someone who's just lost their mother:

'I'm really sorry for your loss. I'm dead dead dead dead... ' (running out of words).

And: 'Funeral at one o'clock? The more the merrier, eh?'

The big fella's blessed with a true case of foot-in-mouth-it is, isn't he?

Fancy a peek at the words of love which grieving Deek had published in The Clyde Enquirer? Here you go!

Photo of TheresaJust as we're getting used to Molly, Scarlett's manipulative mother and put-upon Big Bob, who's stout in body and large in heart, another O'Hara is going to shake things up big-style in Shieldinch.

Meet Theresa.

She's played by Maureen Carr, a familiar face from Still Game, and The Steamie, amongst others.

The Daily Record has a great story about Scarlett and Molly's relationship, and an interview with Maureen about Theresa, where she says:

'... it is possible that the viewers will actually be scared of me because, despite being the smallest in size, I really am the nastiest of all the O'Haras.'

Sally, Maureen and Una all get on together like a house on fire. But we're told that they are so evil to one another on screen, that the joke on set is that they should be provided with a cauldron!

You can bet the arrival of Theresa will mean yet more massive ructions in the O'Hara clan. Can't wait!

Picture of Deek in the mortuaryNever good words. Deek got the surprise visitors we all hope we'll never get - police on your doorstep with bad news. But Alice Henderson's death was totally out of the blue.

Photo of Alice and Deek

It's the end of an era for Deek and the Hendersons: all those years trying to help his mum, as she battled the bottle, and her demons. And Alice had demons by the gallon - all underpinned by her troubles with the drink.

The last time Deek saw his mum was when she left Shieldinch, in the devastating aftermath of his granda George's funeral. At this time Alice found out that her real father was her uncle, and vodka appeared to be the only source of comfort. When she fell off the wagon this time Deek reached the limit of his patience: he told her to get out of his life - for good.

Photo of Alice

Stella certainly hit the nail on the head, when she pointed out to Deek that his desire to rescue her was all about his relationship with his mum. But how will Stella be able to fix Deek? Can friendship, or love, patch over the cracks in a broken person?

Which shameful scenes from the notorious Henderson Family Album did Eileen forget to mention? We can think of a couple of unhappy memories - what about you?

Photo of Kieron ElliottWe've discovered a link between Montego Street and the vampires of Bon Temps, as featured in American drama series True Blood. No, Lenny's not going to be back as one of the undead, but an ex-resident of Shieldinch has made an appearance - in a viral video clip for HBO's hit vampire series.

The Daily Record has a story about Kieron Elliott, the actor and DJ who played Duncan, the doomed love of entrepreneur Heather. Look for 'Samson the vampire' on YouTube to see Kieron in blood-sucking action!

Photo of AmberJeez-oh, Amber hasn't got it easy, has she? After the horror of Ewan's death she discovered that both her parents have been using her as a pawn in their mind games. So what's next for Amber, now she's abandoned her mother, and rejected her father? She finally said no to Lydia, but where to go from here?

Shieldinch confronts LennyConfronting a bully is a daunting prospect, but hats off to the team who tackled the Murdoch menace head-on. Even if Lenny was dismissive of the Shieldinch alliance - "Well, if it isnae the mild bunch!'.

Did you cheer when Jimmy gave Murdoch a smack across the chops? At long last! See the magic moment again (it's about 39 minutes in!).

Sadly it seems to be an eye for an eye in Lenny-land...we'll be glad to see the back of his nasty ways, won't you?

We were beginning to get used to not having Lenny around. But with his surprise release from the nick didn't he bring the menace back to Montego Street?

Wasn't Lydia's face a picture when her hooligan hubby materialised?

And how will Lenny cope with Amber, the precious daughter, no longer in his life?

More to the point, what will you miss most about Lenny, now he's turned his back on Shieldinch? Remind yourself of all the action.
