Boatyard of blood

Phew, after last week's shocker of an episode, no chance to catch your breath. Body bags in the boatyard brought gasps of horror, not least from Scarlett who was top of the list to keep the world informed.

And wasn't poor Liz put through the wringer? Amazed when she turned up chez Murdoch: didn't you feel sorry for her? Then Lydia's jaw-dropping confession: 'Em, sorry, but I think my hubby knocked off your son'. Not really the kind of thing that can be put right with a cuppa and a custard cream...

Last but not least there's Malcolm going to the cops! Justice may be one thing but perjury is another. What next, I ask?

Great show tonight. At least it tied up the loose ends with the finding of Archie and Mary but don't you just get the feeling Lenny will find a way out and scarper!!

I know soaps are always moving on with storylines etc but there just seems to be such an exodus of the cast. ( I'm just bitter cos Ewan's gone:-) Lets hope their planning to bring in some new characters.

Note to the powers that be....can you not find a role for Tony Roper, I'd love to see him in my fave soap?

Im loving it all the more just now and gutted Ewan has left he was a great character the only thing thats letting rivercity down just now is molly she is the most irritating character and find myself wanting to turn over when its her scene she is killing it.

Lenny and Liz were fantastic, this was a cracker of an episode!

Thanks for your comments - we did think Liz was fantastic in this episode.

Talking of acting legends, Carlise, I have it on good authority that Tony Roper has already appeared in River City. In 2007 Tony played John the Gardener, and he was a witness at Raymond and Shona's wedding. Refresh your memory with a wander through the archives here to see Mr Roper an action...

Haha Anna you're right!! I had forgotten as it was quite a small part. Still think he's a great actor. I know some soaps have had actors playing smaller parts previously and brought them back years later for a bigger role so I'm going to keep my fingers crossed:-)

Absolutely brilliant.I wonder if old Lenny boy is going to be charged with murder now that Malcolm was a witness to what happened.Good on Malcolm cause its time Lenny got his comeuppance, and i dont think their is any way he can worm himself out of this. The acting was really good and especially Liz as she played her part really well but Eileen allways does.River city is the best soap on tv, it just gets better and better every week and it has everything in it.Molly is so funny the things she comes out with are hillarious.I can honestly see Bob throwing her oot with Deek and Stella helping him.A case of pick a windae yer gan. Really good acting from all the cast.
