Absolutely heart broken with Shonas death. I was not expecting that to happen as they were so happy together. Really upset for poor Raymond, Roisin and of course for Iona, they have never been so close before. I just cried buckets as it was such a sad episode, Shona will be missed so much as Shona was a great favourite in River city. As for that low life Lenny Murdoch refusing Raymond the Tall Ship, how could he be so nasty as to go behind Raymonds back and get another offer.The acting tonight was brilliant as it allways is but very sad. Yes i know its only a soap, but i have been watching River city from the begining and you do get in to the story lines and the characters. That just shows how much River city is thought of and the cast and story lines are brilliant.Going to miss Shona very much but i was so happy when they finally did get married, its what they wanted and we wanted too.Shona was a great actress and very funny too, the things she and the rest of the clan used to get up too was hillarious.Thankyou Shona for many happy episodes, we will miss you so much.

What can I say, poor Raymond!!!. It was a very moving script and I did cry but I would have prefered if Shona made a recovery and they got The Tall Ship back. I was upset when Raymond & Shona left for a new life but did cheer up when they returned although I am slighly annoyed that she was killed off. They were a great couple (like Jimmy & Scarlet) and it would have been good to have them married and living happily ever after. I know it is just a soap but I do enjoy watching every Tuesday and you get taken in by the characters.

I wish Julie Duncanson well and hope to see her on our screens again soon, she will be a big loss to Shieldinch and I think the writers were crazy to let her go.
