Changes To TV Schedule

Julie|16:27 UK time, Friday, 23 February 2007

Due to football, there will be no River City on Tuesday 27th February but that episode will be shown at 8pm on Thursday 1st March instead. The next episode will follow on Friday at 8.30pm so you get River City two nights in a row!

There will be further changes in the next couple of weeks but keep an eye on this diary or on the River City homepage for info.

Ruth and Iona Spoiler

Julie|17:40 UK time, Monday, 19 February 2007

If you visit the Coming Up page twice a week and watch the video preview then you'll know a little of what happens next on the show but sometimes we just can't help telling you a little bit more... If you want to find out what goes on tomorrow night when Iona and Ruth meet for the first time since Ruth lost her baby, then roll your mouse over the block below.

Iona catches up with Ruth in the street and she is not impressed. Iona apologises for the affair and hopes that one day Ruth can forgive her but, despite all Ruth's chat about being absolutely fine, it's the final straw. She snaps, attacks Iona and has to be dragged off her. Iona's left lying bruised and battered on the ground...

Set News

Julie|17:31 UK time, Monday, 19 February 2007

As some of River City's most clued-up fans know, the show's just had a filming break of three months so the cast and most of the production team got a very long Christmas holiday! (Don't worry, it doesn't affect your viewing pleasure because they worked extra-hard to make sure there were enough episodes completed before they finished up.) But you'll be pleased to know the whole team got back together again a couple of weeks ago and they're hard at work once again, filming scenes you'll see from April.

The break coincided with a lot of demolition work happening nearby (nope, that doesn't mean we've lost any of the set!) so the whole landscape's changed quite dramatically. You can now glimpse more of the famous Shieldinch tenements from the street so watch out next time you're in Dumbarton.

And, talking of the set, the demand for our tours has been overwhelming! They're now fully booked until July so if you do want to take advantage of a free visit to Shieldinch, check this out, pronto!
