Radio 4 ephemera

Michael Wincott is a graphic designer, former radio presenter and full-time parent from Hastings. He's assembled an awesome collection of radio station ephemera at Radio Things It's a quite dazzling mosaic of brightly-coloured pop culture stuff from thirty-odd years of radio and, of course, there's some Radio 4 stuff in there. Some of it quite strange. If you have any Radio 4 material from over the years, he'd like you to send it to him. Michael's also on Flickr.

What a brilliant little website. Sad in a way too. With all the station names slowly disappearing in favour of larger radio groups.

I don't have any stickers but I'm going to send him a Radio 3 t-shirt that I won in a competition.

Ah, Mr Bowbrick - I have a rather juicy bone to pick with you, which I would be grateful you would share with Mr Damazer.

I am just discovering that Clive Anderson has ANOTHER series, in addition to 'Loose Ends' and 'Unreliable Evidence' which you have singularly FAILED to inform us about, and now the series is at an end !!

How very dare you deprive me of a funny series featuring Mr Anderson and company, which appears, on an initial taster to be very funny !!

Oh, I see, it is not actually ON Radio 4 ! Well, my point still stands that you could have let us Radio 4 listeners know that this additional portions of this wonderful broadcaster is available on BBC Radio.

Why, the modest scamp is not even plugging it on 'Loose Ends', no doubt because he doesn't want the 'green ink' brigade writing in to complain about the pre-ponderance of trails on Radio 4.

Of course, "You can't please all the people.." but Mr Anderson really does his best, bless him..
