Code Club for future computer whiz kids
Joe Haig is a lead BBC staff volunteer at BBC Salford running after-school coding for primary school children. The free classes are run in term time in conjunction with Codeclub.org.uk which provides the teaching materials for programming animations, computer games and websites.

Dave Howard attended the Media on the Move conference which explored the past, present and future portrayal of Gypsy, Roma and Traveller communities. It was held by BBC Outreach and Travellers’ Times, which is a magazine and website for the communities and those who work with them.

Ahmed Hussain did a Hot Shoes placement with the BBC Outreach Face2Face project in Bradford. He helped young people aged 18-24 put together a short film exploring the media as a career.
