Neil Young isn't one to rest on his laurels, even after five decades in the biz. This week, his latest album 'Storytone' (his second this year… 35th in total) was streamed online to the delight of fans ahead of its release next week.

Complete with a 92-piece orchestra, big bang and choir, this latest record is a perfect counterbalance to May's covers album 'A Letter Home', which was a much more lo-fi affair recorded using Jack White's Voice-O-Graph booth at his Third Man Records studio. 'Storytone' will also be available as a two-disc edition, featuring stripped back, solo recordings of all 10 tracks.
So what better excuse (as if we needed one) to celebrate a true music legend? So this Sunday (2 November, 6-8pm), we want your help creating the ultimate Neil Young inspired playlist. What should be on it?
You could pick:
* Solo classics or rarities by the man himself
* Other projects or collaboration with - from Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young and Buffalo Springfield through to Pearl Jam, Devo and beyond
- His influences or those he's influenced
- Maybe other artists with distinctive raw, melodic voices - such as Beth Orton
...or any other interesting connection you can think of.
