#Metallica6Music - help create a Metallica inspired playlist

The online world has been in hot debate this week following the big news that Metallica have been confirmed as the final main stage headliners for this year’s Glastonbury. It’s the very first time a heavy metal band has headlined the festival.
“I feel ecstatic,” Metallica's Lars Ulrich told the BBC of being booked to play the Pyramid stage on Saturday 28 June. “We've been waiting for this phone call for years.”
The band complete the main stage trinity that sees Arcade Fire topping the bill on the Friday, with Kasabian bringing the festival in Somerset to a close on the Sunday. It quashes rumours that Oasis would be re-forming to fill the remaining headline slot, after Liam Gallagher tweeted the letters 'OASIS LG' last month.
Reactions to the metal veterans’ booking on twitter have been mixed: from “Buzzing for Metallica at Glastonbury. Said no one ever” to “METALLICA MELT MY FACE” and “Metallica will be awesome, you know you'll embrace it when you're there!”
So what to suggest for our playlist…
Anything by the band – from their nine albums or their 24 singles maybe?
Their influences – from Deep Purple and Thin Lizzy to Motorhead and The Sex Pistols?
Collaborators – including Lou Reed?
Covers of their songs by people - such as Snoop Dog, Sum 41, Bullet For My Valentine?
Maybe other past surprise Glasto headline bookings – from Radiohead to Jay Z?
… Or any other great weird and wonderful link you can make with the band.
Send your song suggestions plus your all-important reasons behind your choice to us via the hashtag #Metallica6Music on Twitter, post here on the blog or on the Now Playing Facebook page, email nowplaying@bbc.co.uk or drag tracks onto our collaborative playlists on Spotify and Rdio.
