It is a period of great musical celebration. 6 Music listeners, striking from a hidden Internet presence, have won their first victory against the final weekend of Christmas shopping.

During the battle, Rebel music lovers managed to ascertain the not-so-secret hashtag for the Empire's ultimate weapon, TWITTER, an interactive social media platform with enough power to destroy an entire planet.

Pursued by the Empire's sinister agents, Tom Robinson races home within his studio, custodian of the hashtag that can save his listeners and restore freedom to the galaxy...."

The force is strong with this show, dear listeners, but the Rebel Alliance still needs YOU to help us compile the ultimate Star Wars themed playlist for this Sunday’s Now Playing @6Music.

To celebrate the biggest movie moment of the year – probably the decade – Tom Robinson requires your ideas and contributions for any artist or song associated with this iconic galactic film franchise. You could start with artists who’ve included Star Wars references within their songs, such as Ash, Beastie Boys, Blink 182, Divine Comedy, Missy Elliot, Gorillaz, Kasabian, Queen, Wu Tang Clan and hundreds of others.
