Autumn arrives at Sherborne - here's how our Cotswold home is looking

Chris Hitchings

BBC Springwatch Digital Team

With only a few days to go until Autumnwatch - it's safe to say things are definitely getting busy for the team! The cameras will start rolling on Monday evening at 8pm, you can find all the action on BBC Two.

But between now and then there's still plenty going on at Sherborne.

Our Gloucestershire home is looking splendid. Beneath the oak trees around the Sherborne Estate lies some of autumn's finest bounty; crunchy leaves and squirrels working away to stock up supplies for the upcoming winter months.

We sent Alex Walters out with a camera to capture what autumn at Sherborne has to offer.

Can you spot the sparrowhawk hiding in the bushes?

We spotted goldfinches gathering ahead of Storm Brian

A big part of the Autumnwatch home is the village of Sherborne, a typically picturesque Cotswolds settlement.
