Winterwatch wildlife photo favourites: early February
The latest batch of stunners from the Winterwatch photo group. There's still another few weeks to go before we close the group until next winter, so if any of these have inspired you please get snapping and sharing your winter wildlife photos.
So which one was your favourite? If you still need more winter wildlife have a look at last month's best. I'd hazard a guess there'll be a distinctly spring-like feel to the next lot of photo favourites we do.

And thank you to all these latest "favourites" photographers - as ever, a group of very inspiring images (although I still don't have the make-up to be a photo editor ...!). And as Jeremy intimates, spring is fast approaching and nature is certainly ready, in all sorts of - and rapidly-accelerating - ways (well advanced, as generally, here in central London - but also in Wales, even BEFORE Christmas - and despite all the prolonged, deep snow cover in both places!!); but I am less well prepared (and still "processing" winter ..!). We're about to be off on our travels yet again, but are also looking forward to seeing what might be new on our return home - and to what the next SpringWatch/Unsprung might deliver (reduced budgets permitting ..). Until then, thanks again and best regards, TB/EB.
