From the tracks of Memphis station me and my band The Dodge Brothers play a musical tribute to one of the many films made in the city - Jim Jarmusch's Mystery Train.

I might be wrong, but I'm sure Johnny Cash and his band did that one too.

One of Jarmusch's films using the great Robby Müller whose brilliant cinematography has garnered surprisingly few awards, you should consider Müller for a Kermode, if you do a lifetime achievement.

Dr K is already similar to Flavor Flav in many, many, many ways :-).

Something has been bothering me for some time now BUT in a previous life have you ever busked in Winchester...?
I have a memory of a skiffle band with a bass player, a larger than average guy sporting a quiff not that unlike the one sat atop you scalp. Causing an obstruction over a few summers a while back, knocking out 'I want to be like you' and many other great skiffle classics. Probably not you as I seem to remember the guy having 'tats' but I thought I would ask anyway....

I was fortunate enough to see Mystery Train on the big screen at uni in Film Studies. A friend did me a copy of the soundtrack and it's great.
In particular there is one spooky instrumental on it that is beyond genius, one of my all-time fave movie music pieces, called Tuesday Night In Memphis - check it out.
