South of the Border is Oliver Stone's fascinating new documentary about the new era of South American presidents, and while the director has once again raised the hackles of some of his fellow North Americans, he has managed to do so without raising his own voice.

The Asylum's Mega Piranha is a cheap quickie, a so-called 'mockbuster' designed to glide in the wake of the big budget summer release Piranha 3D, just as The Da Vinci Treasure, Pirates of Treasure Island, and Paranormal Entity cashed in on The Da Vinci Code, Pirates of the Caribbean and Paranormal Activity respectively. But since the original 1978 Piranha, of which Piranha 3D is pretty much a remake, was itself a knowing parody of Jaws, has it all gone a little too far? And where did it all start anyway?

Now that we've all had a chance to sample Leonardo Di Caprio, Tom Hardy and Ellen Page in Christopher "Batman" Nolan's Inception (and those of us who have not really should), does it not seem to you that some of it is rather more familiar than it dreams it is?
