Just found out that in some circles a 'quiff' is also 'A woman regarded as promiscuous.' How funny.



Would love to know the origins of the word 'quiff'. I'm sure Mark knows.

I personally use blue dax on my flat top, I like the very greasy feel. I use red dax when I need great hold. A combination of the two also works pretty well. Anything else is just junk. Hopefully Richard is now a fully greased convert. Now go forth and convert the rest of the quiff wearing elite.

I use two things for my quiff, a strong hold gel and maximum hold hairspray. That after using the hair dryer. I used Sweet Georgia once and I found it too greasy. Maybe I should try it on dry hair. If not I don't mind the money I spent on it, cause the box is lovely.

I also heard that American Crew products are very good, but I haven't try any of them yet.
