Her new full length record, her eighth, JULY, is out in 10th February. Her music is described as dream folk slowcore and gothic ambient, ooh fancy, and she’s referenced poets such as Edgar Allan Poe in her music, and revealed that the characters and scenarios in her lyrics are often based on her real experiences. So if you meet her, watch out as you could be the subject of her next song. Her debut album, Ballads of Living and Dying, was released in 2004 and if you’re over the pond – that’s America - in February then try and catch her live.
