Ugly Heroes consists of two MCs – Red Pill and Verbal Kent – who hail from Detroit and Chicago, respectively, and producer Apollo Brown. Apollo has worked with the likes of O.C. and Ghostface Killah and here provides the jazz piano sample and heavy splashes of symbol. Their topics and lyrics are often quite dark but this song is a lighter moment from their debut self-titled album, released last month.
