Today's Memory Tape comes courtesy of Michael McDowell who resides in Holywood, Northern Ireland. We will leave him to explain the history and relevance of this playlist...
"My priority for my little girl's 3rd birthday party was that she and her friends should have lots of fun and every party has to have great music.
I was conscious that I have a very small window until she falls under the spell of all things POP (which I’m secretly looking forward too, as we all have to have a little bit of pop in our lives). So this was probably my last chance to put together a playlist for the pre party food disco - and this is what I came up with.
A playlist from punk to rap and everything in-between. I resisted unleashing a barrage of 90s house music and big haired rock and stuck to bounce along fun and they seemed to love it!"
