Another excellent day on earth, another excellent download for your ears. Today’s comes all the way from Seattle from a chap known to his parents as Eric Elbogen, and apparently he’s not big on biography.

This is taken from his 8th album Endless Wonder, released last month, and described as a “record about the presence and absence of love, in every flavour imaginable and will very likely cause your butt to wiggle.” Originally known as Say Hi to Your Mom, he used to make “concept albums about vampires well before turning mainstream chic” and created the soundtrack to 2011’s Crazy, Stupid, Love. Apparently this is his most accessiblerecord to date: think Eugene McGuinness, thrown in with a bit of Tobacco’s industrial-strength synth, and you just about have it.
