Today's funky Memory Tape comes from James Mayall - he just likes making mixtapes and this one happened to find him love.
“I used to be an active member of the Big Chill festival forum, and there was a bunch of us who used to share mixes up there - this was the days before superfast internet so I would send out the mixes on CD - complete with fancy artwork - to whoever wanted one. Anyway, this lovely Italian lady called Gaby got in touch saying she would love a copy of my mix, and I duly sent one off. We communicated via email for a bit, then met up, fell in love and eight years down the line we are living together with our month old baby girl called Juno and our two year old Labrador Rocco.
