This week's Memory Tape comes from Melz Durston who was lucky enough to have the coolest teacher ever. Mel writes...

"I had a mix tape given to me as a fifteen year old, quite impressionable maths student at school. I diligently followed my teacher's orders one day and went to the local shop (probably Woolies at that time) and purchased a sleek looking single, blank cassette. Arriving in class the next day, I handed it over to my teacher - she told me she would fill it up with music and return it to me by the end of the week (we were off on a family holiday to Florida the following week).

"This is the music that filled my head for the entire two weeks of our holiday (much to the horror of my older sister and younger brother - and my insistence at playing it in the car at every opportunity...)"

Here are the tracks:

Side 1

Gomez - We Haven't Turned Around

Pavement - Shady Lane

Pavement - Cut Your Hair
